Rice noodles (funchosis) is thin translucent strips cooked from water and rice flour. Prepare funchose is easy, but it is the knowledge of the characteristics of this product that will reduce the taste and texture.
Soaking in warm water
This version of the preparation of the funchose is worth using if the noodle is further exposed to additional heat treatment (during the preparation of the dish).
- 225 g rice noodles (standard packaging) are removed from the pack and move into deep containers. Do it most carefully, because the fragments of the funchos will turn into an unattractive mass.
- Pour noodles with warm (but not hot) water. Water should fully cover products.
- After 10 minutes, you will notice that the plates of the noodles separated from each other.
- Merify water. Further actions depend on the preparation stage of the main dish. If the rice noodle queue has already come, make this product. If not, add 2-3 tsp for funchose 2-3. l. Sesame oil and gently mix your noodles. So you will be able to save the product soft outside, but solid inside.
Soaking in boiling water
Preparation of noodles in these methods allows to obtain a product ready immediately to use (independently or as part of salad). Moreover, this method does not imply further thermal processing of the product. Otherwise, you risks just spoil noodles.
- Rice twigs lay out in the container from heat-resistant material.
- Next noodles flood with boiling water, and the fluid should fall directly on the funchose, and not on the walls of the dishes.
- Immersing noodles in boiling water, carefully stir it every 2 minutes so that the rice plates separated from each other. When the noodle becomes soft and militant, water can be merged (after 7-10 minutes).
- So that the rice noodles is not sticking out, optionally you can add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil.
If you prefer noodles more elastic consistency, hold it in front of boiling water for some time in warm water (5 minutes).
How to use rice noodles?
- If the funchose is used as part of a complex dish (for example, soup), it is necessary to add it at the final stage of preparation.
- Before adding noodles to the salad, the product must be completely ready.
- A similar rule is valid when using noodles as a side dish.
