What is cerebral palsy?

Cereals decoded as children's cerebral paralysis. With this disease, the child is born, the disease may appear during the development of the fetus in the womb or at the time of complex labor. The number of patients with children born with such a diagnosis is extremely disappointing. Our article describes in detail the symptoms of the disease and the causes of its development.

What is the essence of the disease?

PPP is a serious pathology. Children who are born with such a diagnosis are disability. Parents have to completely revise their usual lifestyle and devote themselves to upbringing a difficult child. The essence of the disease lies in the fact that the patient will underdesert or damaged by the brain, so it cannot normally function. Depending on the degree of illness, the child cannot:

Very often, the child is given such a diagnosis on the first days of his life, sometimes the disease can manifest itself and later. But already a year, parents know exactly, their child is healthy or not. In order not to launch the disease, you need to know exactly the main symptoms of the PCSC:

  • the delay in the physical development of the child (the baby does not hold his head, does not know how to sit, does not try to make the first steps);
  • the child can not control his movements (chaotic cramped hands, moves both sharp and slow);
  • increased salivament (this is due to the fact that the baby does not know how to swallow);
  • problems with feeding (the child cannot suck her chest or drink from a children's bottle);
  • convulsions (they may appear at once at birth and during the first two years of life);

If the diagnosis was confirmed, the doctor should figure out the form of a PPC and give instructions to parents, as facilitating the life of the child. The disease has several forms that depend on the degree of complexity:

  • spastic tetraplegia is the most rare, but very heavy shape, the patient cannot move with his hands and legs, experiences frequent severe pains in the limbs;
  • spastic diploggy - the peculiarity of this form is that the child cannot control either with his hands or legs;
  • the hemiplegic form is the average form of cerebral palsy, the leg and hand are affected on one side;
  • attax form - the child manages all the limbs, however, the movements are very slow and extremely sluggish, since the patient is significantly reduced muscle tone.

4
Risk group

The risk group includes women who decided to give birth to the firstborn after 40 years. It is in commercially a higher percentage of children with a different form of cerebral palsy. Ecology depends on the normal development of the fetus. In industrial cities, more sick children are born than in the outback. The risk group includes future mothers who have:

  • diseases of the cardiovascular system (especially heart rate);
  • a narrow pelvis (some women with a narrow pelvis are prescribed by planned caesarean, so as not to harm the newborn);
  • different rees-factor in pregnant and fret;
  • multiple pregnancy (twin, triple, such moms are especially examined during pregnancy);
  • wrong lifestyle (alcoholism, drug addiction, smoking);
  • diseases of the endocrine system (including a slight increase in the thyroid gland);
  • sugar diabetes of different stages;
  • the future mother suffered a disease of infectious nature during pregnancy.

It is very important for parents and their special children to attend school for patients with cerebral palsy. There will teach how to handle the child and help to go through a difficult period in life. Moms such children support each other, share experiences, communicate on the forums and organize meetings.
