Changing cabbage: classic recipe

This recipe is familiar to many since Soviet times. For cooking, the simplest ingredients are used. To make a dish more fragrant, we suggest adding a tomato paste to it.

What ingredients are needed

  1. Cabbage medium size 1 kg.
  2. Onions 1-2 pieces. (depending on the size)
  3. Sugar sand 1 tbsp. l.
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Wheat flour 30 g
  6. Pepper peas
  7. Water 100-150 ml.
  8. Tomato paste 2-3 tbsp. l.
  9. Bay leaf 1 pc.
  10. Vegetable oil

Step-by-step cooking recipe

  1. Clean the onions and grind it finely.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry onions in it until half-ready.
  3. Wash the cabbage and remove the top leaves from it. If the Kochan is too big, then cut it into several parts.
  4. Finely torn cabbage and put it in the pan to the bow. All mix well.
  5. Fill cabbage with bow water and mix well again.
  6. Cover the frying pan with a lid and begin to stew it on medium heat. Carry cappist follows 35-40 minutes. In this case, do not forget to constantly stir. If during cooking water evaporates too quickly, then add about 100 ml to it. water.
