Basics of cooking winter salad

It would seem that it may be easier: all the ingredients struggled strume with mayonnaise and ready. But alas, in a classic recipe, everything is slightly harder. First, it is necessary to cut into cubes: not straw, as many do, and in no case rub on the grater, otherwise it turns out porridge. Secondly, the cubes should be the same size, not less than 0.5 cm, but not more than 1 cm. Products required for cooking

As mentioned above, now in the winter salad you can find all sorts of additives, but the classic recipe remains unchanged and the list of products is quite simple. On 4 servings will need:

  • potatoes - 4 pieces;
  • carrots - 2-3 pieces;
  • marinated cucumbers - 2 pieces;
  • fresh cucumbers - 2 pcs;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • boiled sausage - 300 grams;
  • eggs - 4 pieces;
  • green peas - 1 bank;
  • mayonnaise, salt, pepper - to taste.

Cooking method

So, start cooking:

  1. Cook carrots and potatoes. Cooking vegetables need at low heat for at least 40 minutes. It is best to cook them crude, then they will not be watery and will not give liquid in a salad.
  2. We boil eggs screwed (10 minutes) and pour cold water - so they are easily cleaned.
  3. Cut all the ingredients with cubes, mix them in a saucepan and put in the refrigerator.

Mayonnaise Salad is best to refuel either already a plate, or in some small bowl to eat it at a time: the salad will quickly deteriorate. From above, the released salad can be decorated with carrot figures, cucumbers, green peas or finely chopped greens - it will give him a festive look!
