Royal shrimps differ from their usual large size. You can buy them in the fishing department of almost any store. Usually, the packaging shows the numbers, for example, 31/40. They mean that inside can be from 31 to 40 pieces.

Let's get shrimp from the freezer and leave to defrost either on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator or in the room. Process features:

  • Take a big saucepan, pour water into it and put on fire.
  • We bring to a boil, throw a little salt, bay leaf, several pepper peppers fragrant and black.
  • We lay out the frosthed royal shrimps and wait until the water boils.
  • Cook not more than 1-2 minutes and take out seafood from the pan.

If shrimp have an unsightly gray color, then they were frozen without prior heat treatment. In this case, we do this:

  • I defrost according to the previous way.
  • We put in a colander and rinse well under the jet of water.
  • In the saucepan of a large volume we pour water (about 3 l), bring to strong boiling.
  • We put there 4-5 laurel leaves, 7-8 pieces of carnations, as many black pepper peas and 4-5 fragrant. In boiling water also add 2.5 tbsp. Salts and crude head of garlic small size. Boiling a couple of minutes.

I lower the prepared shrimps and cook after boiling for 3-5 minutes, but not more. Immediately remove into the colander and cool under the jet of water. As soon as shrimps boil, they will get pink color. If you reap seafood in hot water, then the shrimp meat will be overlooking hard and tasteless.

To submit royal shrimps as a snack, for example, to beer, we do as follows. We take:

  • 1 kg - royal shrimp;
  • 0.5 liter of light beer and as much water;
  • chopping dry dill;
  • coriander seeds;
  • several black pepper peas;
  • a piece of acute red pepper (dry or fresh);
  • bay leaf;
  • 3-4 fresh lemon misery;
  • 2 tbsp. Salt.

Shrimps will not defrost to defrost, and immediately:

  • Pour them in a large bowl, add a tablespoon of salt and pour a bottle of beer. Leave so for a couple of hours. Shrimps themselves are rejoicing and at the same time grumble well.
  • We merge the beer in the pan, add here the same floor of the water. Put on fire.
  • As soon as the fluid starts to pour, add dry dill, laurel, spices, still a tablespoon of salt and lemon slices right with the skin. Lower shrimp.
  • When the water boils well, we begin the time and cook shrimp 2-3 minutes. Fire turn off, cover tightly with a lid and leave shrimps in this form for 10-15 minutes.
  • We take out the noise ready-made boiled royal shrimps on a large dish. A little cool and serve with slices of fresh lemon and fresh greens.

Separately prepare sauce to shrimp:

  • We mix in equal proportions mayonnaise and ketchup.
  • We add some grated cheese and crushed garlic to the store mayonnaise.
  • We prepare the sauce from sour cream and finely chopped greenery, season with salt and spices.
  • We beat olive oil and fresh lemon juice, add some mustard as desired.

There are many other boiling options for royal shrimps. Italians, for example, boil them in cream or milk, and the Chinese add dry green tea instead of spices. The Russians for the severity of sensations pour into the water to shrimps a little vodka. Any way is good, the main thing is not to digest gentle shrimp meat.
