In a slow cooker, we can make vegetables for salads, as well as light vegetable soups.
Vegetables for salad can be prepared either on a pair, or cook in water. For this purpose, my vegetables and without cleaning from the peel are immersed in a bowl, pour water and turn the cooking mode or "soup" for 20-30 minutes.

Soups are also very simple. Standard set for soup: Onions, carrots, potatoes, bell pepper. The rest add to taste and desire: broccoli, Brussels cabbage, podlock beans, etc. We rinse all vegetables, clean and cut into small cubes. On the bottom of the bowl add several spoons of olive or vegetable oil and turn the "frying" or "baking" mode. When the oil is warm, we pour onions into it, pass to a clear yellow color and add carrots and pepper. Lightly please all together, about 10 minutes. Add water and potatoes, change the mode to "soup" or "cooking", cook 15-20 minutes until the potatoes and add the remaining vegetables. Another 15-20 minutes - and the soup is ready. In total, the cooking process takes no more than an hour. If you make a more dietary version without a roasted, then it will take even less.
