How to cook a beet chiller - Products

On 4 portions of cold soup you will need:

  • beets - 2 small or 1 big;
  • fresh cucumbers - 2-3 pieces;
  • eggs - 2 pieces;
  • water for the base of the chill - 1 liter;
  • sour cream - 250 g;
  • salt and citric acid - to taste;
  • greens (dill, parsley, loux) - 1 bundle.

Optional can also take 4 potatoes - the chiller will succeed.

How to prepare a chill from beet - preliminary preparation of products

Start cooking cold:

  • Wash the beet with a brush under running water and boil it until readiness right in the peel. Clamp boiled beets, remove the skin from it and soda root on a large grater.
  • Cipentize 1 liter of water and cool it.
  • In cold boiled water, put a waste beet and a bit of citric acid - you will get the base of the chiller. Acid will retain the bright color of the base and give the dish with an acidic taste. Put the prepared foundation in the refrigerator.
  • Boil to the readiness of potatoes in the peel. Water with cooking a little scoop. After the potatoes become cold, remove the skirt from it and cut into small cubes.
  • Boil the eggs screwed and cut them with cubes.
  • At the cucumbers, remove the skins and lie them with cubes.
  • Greens are well wooered under running water and shallowly sneak it with a knife.

How to cook and give a cold

Put potatoes, eggs and cucumbers in the saucepan. Stir the soup and add salt to taste. Put in half of the greenery and half of all sour cream. Try the chill - it may be necessary to add salts and citric acid yet. Put the finished dish in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours - it should be even colder.

When feeding into each plate, pour soup, put a spoon of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped greens. On a separate plate, serve cold meat cutting: boiled beef or chicken, pork bald, smoked sausage. In Belarus, the chiller is prepared without potatoes, but it is served her hot boiled on a separate plate. Do not forget about bread - with a colder very well combined rustic from coarse flour.
