How to bleach hair - what will need
Besides the assistant, you need:
- Tough brush. Such are sold in stores with hairdressers, occasionally they can be found in ordinary household stores.
- Powder for discoloration. This is one of the main components, more about it will be discussed in the next paragraph.
- Oxide. A little later, you will learn how to calculate the right amount and percentage of oxide for your hair.
- Plastic or glass bowl. In no case is it metal and not enameled, they cause unnecessary chemical reactions in oxide.
- Clamps are plastic.
- Two combs: with frequent and rare teeth.
- Protective cellophane bedspread. If you do not have it, you can cut a few packages or take an unnecessary towel and put it on your shoulders.
How to bleach hair - the amount of oxide and powder
The powder for bleaching hair is sold in two versions: bags of 30 grams and large tubes of 750 grams. The choice of brand is completely dependent on you and your preferences, the most popular are Estel, Kapous and Schwarzkopf in the market. Calculate the weight of considerations about 60 grams per hair to the waist. You may also need more than one procedure.
Oxide is five types: 1.5%; 3%; 6%; 9%; 12%. Descriptions are performed only on the last four, however, it is not recommended to use a 12% oxide, it can burn hair.
- if you are dark frog or brown-haired man, then you need oxide higher, for example, 6% or 9%;
- ginger girls are recommended 6% oxide, since they have a lot of pigment in their hair;
- lightly red can be safely used 3% oxide.
Be careful in choosing, because if you take a high percentage, clarification occurs faster, but more aggressive. Also, a high percentage leaves more yellowness on the hair. Ideally, you should lighten several times on small percent.
The remedy in a tube is sold one liter and small jars of 60 ml.
Everything is mixed in proportions 1: 2, very rarely take 1: 1.5. This can be dangerous for home coloring, so opt for the proportion of 1 part of the powder for 2 parts of the oxygent.
That is, to dye your hair to your shoulders, you need about 120 ml of oxygent and 60 grams of powder.
How to bleach hair - the process of lightening
Put a towel or protection on your shoulders. Give your assistant gloves and comb your hair well.
- the composition is applied to dry unclean hair,
- the head must be divided into a quarter and stained one after another from the roots,
- after the composition is applied, clamp your hair with a crab,
- follow the time.
Excerpt time for oxide 3% is a maximum of 45 minutes, for 6% - half an hour.
Do not let the composition dry out, constantly add the mixture to dried areas.
Rinse the mixture with shampoo twice, then apply air conditioning and balm. Let your hair rest before new lightening. In order for the color to stop being yellow, you need to dye your hair with a purple ash. Lightening will never give you a snow -white color, because it stretches the red pigment.
