Put the lock on the door - it's not too cunning, especially if the castle has a simple design and you have an ordinary standard door. Anyone who knows how to handle a chisel and hammer, can install the castle personally.

There are different types of locks - mortise, overhead and mounted. Each of them can be both complex in design and easier. Cutting locks are used for right-hand and left-sided doors. But they are both universal, which do not depend on which way the doors will open. Internal mortise locks are inserted directly at the door. They are very well suited for entrance doors, it will not work out such a lock.

Measure the distance from the bottom of the door to the meter or a little more. Apply the castle to the end to the door bruster and make the castle contour pencil. Take the drill corresponding to the thickness of the lock, at the top and bottom of the loop to the depth of the lock, make the holes. Now the chisel make a nest under the castle.

Insert the lock in the socket and circle a pencil bar. From the contour of the chisel, remove the tree so that the castle's plank does not protrude from the door. The line measure where the keyword is, and make the necessary holes, giving them the desired shape of the chisel. Then screw the lock with screws, insert the keyword and screw it with a bolt to the lock.

Spray the end of the bright paint. Close the door and check the key. The bar is imprinted from Rigel. Make a nest. It must be a little wider than the riglel. Then draw the contour of the shut-off strip and the chisel make a nest. Screw the bar with screws and the work is completed.

The overhead castle is put on the inside of the door. To make it easier to work, make a paper template and mark all the holes on it and move to the door. Drill a hole to the keyword. We twist the keyword with the lock and secure the lock to the door and with the outside of the door, screw the turnkey pad. On the ends of the rigels we apply paint and celebrate where the hole will be. We make it and put a lock bar, screwing it with screws.

To install a mounted lock, make two loops or brackets (just get comfortable so that they cannot be squeezed). If the door is iron - you can welcome if the wooden - drill through holes and screw the brackets with bolts. Hang the castle and everything!
That's so simple without much wisdom make such work as the lock of the castle.
