How to Take Activated Coal

How to Take Activated Coal

Doctors agree that activated carbon is the most universal nonspecific antidote (antidote). It helps in food poisoning and alcohol poisoning, with intoxicating heavy metal salts and inhaled combustion products. Activated coal is used in complex treatment of dysentery, abdominal typhoid, gastritis, colitis, severe diarrhea forms.

1
The universality of activated carbon is explained by its highest surface activity, i.e. Tablets work as a "sponge", absorbing all sorts of poisons. Actively absorbing (absorbing) the poisons that fell into the body, coal does not give them to spread through the body and protects it from even greater intoxication.

2
The benefit from activated carbon will be the greatest if it starts to take for a short time after any poisoning (maximum - 12 hours). In the time you need to take 1-2 grams (4-8 tablets) of coal and then repeat the same dose after 1.5-2 hours. If the improvement has not come, then take coal several times a day at the same time intervals.

3
Activated coal for the body is completely harmless, because it consists only of natural components. Nevertheless, experts advise them not to get involved and stop its reception in one or two days after alcohol poisoning or non-pepper. If during this time the body is still "sick", then you need to consult a doctor to adjust treatment.

4
In case of poisoning by chemicals (except cyanides, alkalis and salts of various metals), activated carbon is taken to wash the stomach. To prepare an absorbent solution, you need 50-100 grams of coal to grind and dissolve in 150 milliliters of water, then drink at a time. After that, it is necessary to try artificially clean the stomach from the content.

5
Activated coal helps well when a person is tormented by gases in the stomach. In this case, it must be taken immediately after eating and in the amount of 1-2 grams (as of state).

6
In addition to activated carbon, today there are a lot of other absorbents in pharmacies. In order not to harm the body, which already got an alcoholic or chemical "blow", do not mix coal with any other medicine. It may so happen that the two drugs will begin to conflict with each other and in the stomach will begin a large storm.

With severe diseases, like dysentery, acute colitis, protracted gastritis, or strongest chemical poisoning, treatment should be carried out only under the control of the doctor. Activated coal in this case can only become a temporary measure to reduce the risk of complete poisoning of the body.
