How to cook rice vinegar in the kitchen

If you like sushi, and you often do them, learn how to prepare rice vinegar. To do this, you will need round rice, sugar and dry yeast.

  • 1 Glass rice Pour into the jar and fill 0.25 liters of water and leave the room for 4 hours. Move the workpiece into the fridge and keep all night there.
  • The next day, straighten the rice, but do not squeeze.
  • Pour the liquid into a glass and add warm water to the top.
  • Add 4 tbsp into the solution. Sugar and dissolve it, stirring with a wooden spoon syrup.
  • Install the container with the liquid on the water bath. Wait until the water in the water bath boils, and keep the dishes with the syrup of 20 minutes, then remove.

Replacements of rice vinegar substitutes

To make the taste of seasoning makes the maximum similarity with the original product, prepare it from several components by special recipes.

Grape vinegar

Grape vinegar (4 tbsp.), Salt (1 tsp), sugar (3 tsp) Pour into a small container, put on a small fire. Warm solution until all components dissolve. Watch that the mixture does not boil. Seasoning from lemon juice

Properly divorced lemon juice will be able to reproduce the taste of rice vinegar. The difference will determine only the indigenous Japanese.

Pour in a glass of 2 tbsp. boiled warm water, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. sugar, 0.5 ppm Salt. All mix until the content is completely dissolved. You can heat the mixture, but it is impossible to boil.

What is not recommended to make seasonings

It is not recommended to prepare seasoning for sushi from the balsamized vinegar. Such a product has a characteristic taste, infused on herbs. It will break the taste of sushi, which should be slightly acidic.
