How to install a label

Often you need to install a shortcut on the desktop or in some other folder to have quick access to some program. By installing a shortcut, you will greatly simplify the access to the file. This article will show several ways to install a shortcut.

Creating a shortcut by clicking on the program

To use this method, first you need to find a folder with a file for which we want to create a shortcut. For example, we want to create a shortcut for the Daemon Tools program, which is located on C. We are looking for this program. In order to speed up the search process, you can simply enter its name into the computer search engine.

  • We press on the icon of the magnifying glass in the lower left corner and in the search bar we enter the desired name of the program.

  • Click on the result by the right mouse button, select the “Open Folder Folder” tab.
  • The folder with the file opens. It is possible that it will have not only the program itself, but also some additional files or extensions to it. Select the program itself, click on it with the right button.
  • In the falling menu, we point to the “Send” tab and in the next menu select “Desktop (create a shortcut)”.

  • We close all the extra folders and go to the desktop to make sure that the label is successfully created.

Creating a shortcut by transferring the PKM program

This method is not much different from the previous one:

  • We are looking for the program we need through a computer search and open a folder with a file.

  • Find the program you need, click on it with the right mouse button and holding it to your desktop.

  • Having released the right mouse button, a new window will come out. Click on the “Create shortcuts” tab.

  • Go to the desktop and make sure that the label is successfully created.

Creating a shortcut through the desktop

This method in the number of steps is slightly larger. Despite this, all the steps will not take much time:

  • On the desktop, click on the right mouse button and in the falling menu we put the mouse on the “Create” tab. In the next menu, click on the “Label” tab.

  • After you click on the above tab a window will be released, which will ask you to indicate the program for which you need to create a shortcut. To select the desired program, click on the “Review” button.

  • We find the desired program and click on it twice, and then click on the “Next” button.

  • The next window will ask you to choose a name for the label. Enter any name that suits you and click on “Ready”.

As shown in the above instructions, the creation of a shortcut is a very easy process. Choose the method you like the most.
