How to install a consultant plus

"Consultant Plus" - a daily updated database, a reference and legal system. This computer program contains documents of existing Russian legislation, analytical information, other useful materials. Most often, when buying a program, its installation is free of charge for the efforts of the information center specialists, but sometimes there is a need to install on their own.

The number of installation disks coincides with the number of purchased systems. The disc should be inserted into the drive and run the install.exe file (except for it, there are no other files on the disk). The installer will welcome you and remind you which information bank you install. Then you need to click the "Next" button.

The system will show the registration number of the program, its type (network or local), this information must coincide with the data specified in the contract. After that, you should specify a place on the computer where the program must be installed, and the folder for storing personal user settings (bookmarks, folders, query history, so on.). In the installer, the folder is called a directory for configuration files. After pressing the "Start" button, the installation line runs and a successful installation message will appear. You should click the "Complete" button. The actions described must be performed for each disk.

All files and folders must be copied from disks to a computer (in similar folders, replacing their contents).

To do this, run a special program with keys / ADM / REG (the start row will be as follows: cons.exe / adm / reg). The first launch of the program should occur on behalf of the user who has administrator rights on this computer. The program will once again offer to specify the folder for the settings (the "Install Station" window will appear), change the name of the program, the consultant group in the "start". When specifying the data, you will receive a shortcut on the desktop, and the system will most likely ask to restart the computer.

After rebooting, register again. In the window that appears, all systems installed and requiring registration will be listed. Each of the systems should be sequenced sequentially and click the Registration button. After that, the window registration window will appear. You should transfer registration parameters to your information center "Consultant Plus", and in response to get a different set of numbers, after the introduction of which the system is registered. After registration, the system will disappear from the general list of unregistered systems. Thus, you need to register each system, then the message "All Systems is registered" will appear.

Now the "consultant plus" is not only installed, but also registered. During the first login to any section of the Program, the United States will occur, the program will be ready for queries. For the network version you need to provide a folder with the "consultant" in general use. Rights to users to the entire folder can only be given "reading" (if the issue of security is relevant), except the ADM folder: it must be "recording". To update the program you need to have full rights to the entire folder. To connect a network user, you need to find a common folder with "Consultant Plus" from its computer, run the Cons.exe file. This will allow labels on the user's desktop to start the program.
