How to install the game on PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 game console is the most expensive pleasure, and if you consider that licensed games are also a lot, to know how you can install the game on the HDD consoles, is quite useful. Lung and quick way to do this, unfortunately, does not exist, but if desired everything is possible. We will have to lie to a little with the programs and settings.

Official firmware does not provide for the possibility of installing on PS3 unlicensed games. In order to pump any games, you will need a jailbreak (a special device connected to a USB port, designed to bypass restrictions in the work of the console) or self-made (custom) firmware. If this question is resolved, you can start searching and downloading the following programs:

BlackB0x FTP. - to transfer files to the FTP console;
Open Manager.(or Multiman Manager, or Backup Manager) - to run, copy and patch game;
Total Commander.If on your computer it is not yet installed.

Now copy the downloaded BlackB0x FTP software files and, for example, Open Manager on a USB flash drive, formatting it in FAT32. Switch the game console to Jailbreak mode: Disconnect the power, insert the Jailbreak device into the USB port, turn on the PS3, press alternately "POWER" and the "x" button ("EJECT"). After the audio signal, wait 20 seconds and remove the Jailbreak. Now you can insert a flash drive with recorded programs and go to the "Install Package Files" menu - installation files must be located there. To install, press the "X" button - if everything has passed successfully, you will see the BlackB0x FTP and Open Manager in the game "Game" menu.

Go to the network settings of the computer. Connect the console to the computer using a power cable. Next, you need to change the adapter parameters. To do this, open the "Network and Internet" section, click on "View network status and tasks", and then to "Connect over Local Network". By clicking the "Properties" button, find the Internet version 4 Protocol item. Set the IP address 100.10.10.1, subnet mask 255.255.255.0. To configure data transfer between the computer and the console, in the "Network Settings" section of your PS3, the following must be specified: IP address 100.10.10.10, Subnet mask (or Subnet Mask) 255.255.255.0, Main Gateway 100.100.10.1 and Additional DNS Address 100.100 .10.2. Save the changes and run the BlackB0x FTP.

On the computer, open the Total Commander, click on "connect to the FTP server" in the "Network" menu. Add a new connection - in the option of the IP consoles, enter 100.10.10.10, do not specify anything else. After installing the FTP connection on one of the Total Commander panels, you will see the contents of the PS3 hard disk. Next is the case - copy the folder with the right game to a specific directory on HDD PS3:

if you installed Open Manager, open the "dev_hdd0 / game / oman46756 /" directory and create a Gamez folder there;
for Backup Manager Game location path - "Dev_HDD0 / Game / Laun12345 / Gamez / ...";
for the correct operation of "Multiman Manager", put the games in the folder "Dev_HDD0 / GAMES / ...".

The copying process can last for quite a long time.

As soon as the data transfer ended, run Open Manager, confirm the option "OMAN46756" folder, select the game and click "X" to start. It happens that some games without disk are not launched. In this case, insert an absolutely any licensed disk into the drive (only for PS3) and run Open Manager again. This simple trick will help, and the game will work.

By the way, using Open Manager games that occupy less than 4 GB can be run from the flash drive, where the game files are accommodated in the same way in the "Gamez" folder.
