The transition to Windows 8 will not be a lot of work. The bulk of the popular programs works great in this OS. Win-8 will require a minimum of 1 GB of RAM from a computer, 1 GB of processor power and 16 GB of disk space.
1
The operating system has a number of features, including:
acceleration on-shutdown machine due to Hybrid Boot technology;
pre-installed and optimized antivirus from Microsoft;
simple connecting third-party devices via Near Field Communication;
the ability to run several systems with different bit (32 or 64);
cloning OS on USB carrier, from 16 GB;
fast rollback to the "clean" state at the time of installation;
recognition of user biometric data if necessary;

By default, Windows 8 does not allow you to install drivers without digital signature, as this can lead to instability or breakage of the system. However, the computer administrator has the right to temporarily approve their use by turning off the check. We do it like this: First, reboot the computer, keeping the "Shift" key clamped. After downloading, go to the "diagnostics", and select "Advanced Parameters" and "Download Options" in it. We click again "reload" and already before the next start, press the F7 button, which disables the driver signature check.

Windows 8 allows you to create keys for preferred or frequently launched applications. To use this feature, press the "Win" key, while on the desktop. Select the "tile" with the desired program (in the screenshot it is "notepad") and mark it with a right-clicking mouse. From the bottom left by clicking the line "Open the location of the file" and find the "Properties" item in the context menu. In the window that appears, go to the tab "Label". In the "Quick Challenge" line, we write a key or a combination of them, clicking which will cause the program.
4
Win 8 can be configured by editing the registry. It is done, as before, using the REGEDIT command. For example, you will speed up the launch of programs in the autoload. To do this, we find the path of the type "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ Software \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ CurrentVersion \\ Explorer" and create a SERIALIZE subsection with DWORD parameters, assign the name StartupDelayInmSec, write the value "0". We go to the reboot to use the changes.
5
Some liked the desktop gadgets, but there are no them in Windows 8. However, programs are easy to return with the free 8GadgetpackSetup package. Swing only S. site developer. You can configure gadgets after installing the pack, clicking on the free space of "clock" to the right desktop.
6
The operating system has a built-in SmartScreen filter that refers to Microsoft data about each installed program. If it does not suit you, smart is easy to turn off. To do this, open the support center (Hotkes Win + I) via the control panel, the "System and Security" item, select "Change Win SmartScreen parameters". In the list of settings, we note "do nothing to disable". We return to the "Support Center" tab and turn off the notification that the computer is under threat (right to set the checkbox "Do not receive messages about SmartScreen").
7
To configure Windows 8, use some programs that need to download and install separately. For instance:
Metro UI Tweaker disables the Metro-interface to control with the touchscreen;
Vistart or ClassicShell - return to all the favorite Start button with a fully operational menu.
8
The Eight Application Store is available for WIN-devices. To use it, you will need a Microsoft account. Bought programs will work on any 5 devices. To do this, just go to the "Store" from the desired computer (tablet, smartphone, etc.), go to "Your Apps" and press "Install." All problems and malfunctions are solved by technical support, write to which is not at all difficult. In the "store" return to the page describing the program and go to the "App Support" item. Follow the recommendations described or use the specified contact details.
9
To run the command prompt in Windows 8, use the hot keys "Win + R". It will open the appropriate window with the powers of the user-held. To give a start command line from the person of the administrator, click on the right button on the desktop and select "all applications". Click on the icon and in a new window we find the "string". Run it with right click. To get a certificate for using cmd.exe, type in the HELP string window.
As we see, Windows 8 has become much safer, at the same time deleting some familiar interface elements. However, most of them can be quickly returned to the places, and the rest replaced efficient and modern tools. A pleasant nuance is that the eight works quite quickly, it does not require the computer and the user impossible.
