Suprastin - indications and contraindications

How to take suprastin to adults and children

The dose and duration of treatment with suprastine is calculated taking into account age and form of the drug:

  • Babies from 1 month to year shown 1/4 ampoules or ½ tablet per day.
  • Children from 1 to 6 years old ½ ampoules per day or ½ tablet twice a day are prescribed.
  • Children from 6 to 14 years old are recommended to take 1 ampoule per day or ½ tablets 4 times a day.
  • For adults and children from 14 years old, 3-4 tablets or 1-2 ampoules per day are prescribed.

The duration of treatment can be different, but on average the course is 10-12 days.

What side effects should be expected after taking suprastin

Suprastin extremely rarely causes complications from different organs in the form of such adverse reactions:
