How to cook yogurt in a slow cooker

Yogurt is one of the most useful and delicious desserts. And if you also learn how to cook it yourself - you can still be one hundred percent confident that this fermented delicacy will be harmless for you and for your family.

1
Home yogurt can be prepared not only in the yogurney, but also in a slow cooker. To do this, you will need pasteurized fatty milk (from 3.2%) and shop yogurt with live bacteria (the "activation" is perfect for this). Prepare glass jars in advance of the same size, wash and dry them.

2
In the Multivarka Bowl, pour the milk liter and select the Multiproductor mode for 15 minutes (or the standard heating mode for 8-10 minutes), as a result, the milk temperature should reach 40 degrees.

3
Pour the preheated milk in a bowl and mix it with focus. Pour the mixture on jars and put them in a multicooker bowl, pre-shined towel to avoid scratches. Fill the multicooker with warm water (no more than 40 degrees), so that it is the same level with yogurt in the containers. Do not close the caps tightly on the banks, but only slightly cover them.

4
If your multicooker has a multi-trip mode - it is enough to simply turn it on for 6 hours at a temperature of 40 degrees. If there is no such regime - use the standard "heated" mode.

Scheme for heating:

  1. Enable "heated", wait 15 minutes, turn off and leave to cool for an hour.
  2. Turn on the mode and turn off after 15 minutes.
  3. An hour later, repeat the procedure again and leave the multicooker to cool for 2 hours.
  4. Remove jars with yogurt in the refrigerator for 6 hours.

Yogurt is ready! Depending on your taste preferences, you can add wheat bran, jam, chocolate, pieces of fruit - that your soul is pleased. Do not forget that you have prepared natural, live yogurt, which can be stored in the refrigerator no more than 3-5 days.
