Frame panels based on an aluminum profile - these durable facades are not afraid of heating and humidity, disadvantages - scratch and "bite" at the price.
An array of wood is a respectable version for the classic style, given the high cost, rarely applies when restoration of kitchen furniture.
Veneered chipboard or MDF - Golden Middle, if you want to see the wood trim, but there is not enough funds for natural facing.

After determining the type of kitchen facade, it is processed to lifting the size. You can measure old doors or cabinets themselves: the dimensions of new shields must be 3-4 mm less than the height and width of the cabinet. The products of non-standard sizes cost 10% more expensive, so ordering the facades are cheaper directly from manufacturers. The installation of glasses in the windows facades depends on their type:

Profile MDF - Glass is inserted into a special groove when assembling the panel;
Laminated and painted MDF - glass is wider and longer than a hole by 20 mm, and presses the holders.

To hang out the facades, screwdrivers will be useful, as well as a drill or screwdriver.

The installation order of the door:

In the prepared holes are placed hinges, screwed screws.
The door is trying on the place, the points of fastening the retarding parts of the loops are noted.
The deaf holes under the screws are drilled.
The swing panel is hung in place, hinge tails are fixed with screws.
The door is aligned in terms of fitting to the body using adjusting screws.

On drawers, the distances from the edges to the walls are measured before dismantling the old panels, which are transferred to the new facade. Details are fixed on ducts or self-tapping screws from the inside. Holes under the handle are placed in 2-3 cm from the edge, gently drill them to help the tape passed on the site of the drill exit.
