In order to save energy and increase the temperature indoors, the property owners increasingly began to resort to the insulation of facades. One of the most popular and efficient insulation technologies is considered "wet" facade.
1
To make a good idea what it is, it is necessary to deal with the components of this technology. It consists of four main components:
the first component is a wall of the house that performs the role of a frame for fastening the rest of the layers;
the second is thermal insulation holding heat indoors;
third - reinforcing reinforced grid;
the fourth is an external decorative coating.
2
Ideal weather conditions for working on facade insulation are the temperature of about +20 degrees, humidity no more than 75% and the absence of intensive solar exposure. If you have to work at lower temperatures - be sure to arrange around the house of the heat outline. The beginning of work on the installation of "wet" facade should precede the preparation of walls - remove dust, dirt, old paint and plaster. To carry out this procedure, a high pressure washing is perfect. If you plan to exercise the facade insulation, without removing the old finish - do not forget to make sure that it is able to withstand the mass and provide its reliable coupling with the surface. If there are sections with strong damage on the old finish - replace them, and level the irregularities with the help of a draft layer of plaster.
3
The next step is the fastening of the base profile necessary for the further installation of thermal insulation plates. The thickness of the profile must correspond to the thickness of the insulation. It should be attached to an altitude of 40-50 centimeters from the surface of the Earth, using a screw or dowel, the length of which should be 6-8 centimeters.
4
The insulation is attached using a special adhesive solution. Apply it all over the perimeter of the polystyrene foam plate (for example, Ceresit.VWS.) or a mineral wool mat (for example, Ceresit.WM), retreating 2.5-3 centimeters from the edge. For the remaining area, glue is applied locally, small spots. As a result, you should turn out the insulation plate, covered with glue by 35-40%. Capture the wall thermal insulation slabs in a chess order - just as the brickwork is carried out, and do not forget to firmly press them towards the wall and to each other. Installation Conduct horizontal rows without jumping from one level to another. Withstand three days, to dry the glue, secure the plates with special dowels. This procedure is necessary for their additional amplification.
5
The reinforcing grid is applied to the overall strengthening of the design. First of all, it must be used in the field of window and doorways, as well as on the outer corners of the building. To fix it, use the glue: apply it the first layer, then put the mesh from the fiberglass, then put it down by another layer of glue. After spending these operations, you must have a flat surface, ready to apply decorative finish.
6
You can start finishing work in 5-6 days after completion of the reinforcing layer. As an outdoor decorative finish, you can use any material suitable for this. Now the decorative plaster is especially popular, for example, Ceresit CT 77, Typhoon Master No. 23.3 or ILMAX 6810. Application of this material does not require special skills and high costs.
The qualitatively made insulation of the facade of the "wet" technology will allow you to increase thermal insulation by 30%, which will lead to an increase in the temperature indoors and the improvement of housing conditions in general.
