Repair work - both external and internal - often require the use of mounting foam. This material has a high degree of adhesion, due to which it is firmly fixed on the working surface. However, even with the most accurate performance of work, there are often situations when the mounting foam turns out to be in those places where it should not be on the floor, on hand or clothing. Is it possible to wash the mounting foam and how to do it?
Removing the mounting foam from the surface of the skin
Of course, it is best to carry out repair work in gloves. So you will save the skin of hands not only from foam, but also from the effects of other construction compounds. If the skin got a foam:
- As soon as possible, try to remove it with a soft paper or napkin.
- If the foam managed to "grab", it is necessary to abundantly lubricate the contaminated area with bold cream or vegetable oil. After some time (about 20 minutes), wipe the skin with a soft sponge. And although the removal of the foam in this case is performed quite delicately, the purified area of \u200b\u200bthe skin is better to once again treat the nutrient cream.
- Well will cope with the mounting foam and all sorts of solvents. The only condition is the substance must be safe for the skin (for example, a liquid for removing varnish). You can also use medical alcohol or 3% acetic solution. Mix your selected cotton disk and wipe the contamination portion thoroughly.
- This method is the least delicate, but it also has the right to exist. To eliminate the remnants of the mounting foam, place your hands into a warm soap solution. After time, clean the pollution site by using a rigid brush.
Even if, as a result of all the efforts on the surface of the skin, small fragments of the mounting foam remained, do not worry. Thanks to the work of the sebaceous and sweat glands on the surface of the dermis, the sweat and fat is distinguished daily, so after 2-3 days the residues of building pollution will be eliminated.
Removal of mounting foam from floor coatings
If the fragments of the mounting foam came to such surfaces as linoleum or laminate, the sequence of actions should be as follows:
- Large fragments of foam neatly so as not to damage the coating, remove to the knife.
- Next, you can use either a special means for flushing a pistol from foam residues (for example, a cleaner of a macroflex) or a Dimexide drug.
- Gently and at the same time abundantly process the contamination site.
- Remove foam residues.

Cleaning clothes from mounting foam
There are much more susceptible to the effects of aggressive substances of the fabric. To remove the mounting foam and at the same time not to spoil the appearance of clothes you need:
