Although for the smallest slots, the use of the mounting foam is absolutely not justified - it will be longer on the surface than in the slot. Large voids are also not recommended to blew foam - it is not so strong to create a monolithic design. Little gaps are better attached to the construction sealant, and bulk niches - brick masonry.

Before working with the mounting foam, it is necessary to put on the gloves - a foam that fell into the hands is very difficult to remove further. You should also use the oldest clothes, which is not sorry to throw away if it is polluted.

The voids that are planned to be embedded by foam must be moistened with a sponge or sprayer for water. This is especially true if vertical cavities are closed (for example, a gap between the door frame and the wall). With the wet surface of the foam not so rolls like with dry. Vertical voids to start glooming need from bottom to top, but horizontal - as convenient.

The cylinder with foam before use is necessary to hold five minutes in warm water, and then a minute vigorously shake the "top-down" movement. Next, the cap is removed from it, the tubule or a balloon is attached to the cylinder; it is installed in a special pistol. The balloon when working turns over the bottom. Such a position will ensure the flow of foam under good pressure, which increases its volume. If the cylinder does not turn over, then the foam will go slowly and not so volume.

The foam is greatly increasing in the amount, so when writing it, it is not necessary to fill out all the required space. It is enough that the visual hole or slit is filled by a third. The rest of the space will be filled with expanding foam - this will happen in a few minutes.

Foam completely dries after 8-10 hours - after this time, its excess is cut off with a construction knife. The mounting foam is very afraid of ultraviolet (solar) rays, so that it is necessary to create a protective coating on top of it. It may be cement or gypsum plaster, stuffing wooden planks or mounting of drywall.
