How to choose coffee

Thick, fragrant, rich, burning - all this is about the loved one of all coffee. Today it is very rare to meet a person who does not like this refined and invigorating drink. The taste and aroma of coffee depends on the quality of the grains, on the degree of roasting and on the method of preparation. And of course, an important role plays a place on Earth, where one or another variety of coffee has grew. How to choose the most delicious and fragrant coffee?

1
In the world, three varieties of coffee are grown, which are eaten: Arabica, Robust and Liberica. Bathing (mixing) of these varieties gives completely different taste. Traditionally, people buy Arabica - it is the mild, fragrant and tasty. In Robust, much more caffeine, and this variety is considered the most invigorating. Liberica has the most subtle taste, but attaches a substantial bitter drink.

2
If coffee is bought in finished sealed packages, then on the label you can find a ratio of varieties in this form. It will look like this: 90/10, 80/20 or 70/30 (Arabica / Robusta). Percentage combination will allow you to choose a softer or more energy drink. Liberica in finished swims is used very rarely - this variety is mainly used in specialized coffee houses to give coffee the fineness of taste.

3
But still, it is advisable to buy coffee for the milk - so you can see with your own eyes the quality of the grains and choose exactly the grade that most likes. It would be nice to find such a shop so that coffee for the buyer was roasted right with it. If it is impossible to do, then pay attention to the integrity of ready-made grains - they should not be damaged and not broken, the color must be saturated and as if oily. Be sure to smell the grains of coffee from different manufacturers and buy the one that is the most fragrant.

4
Never buy coffee "about stock." The drink will truly be good if it uses only freshly hammer grains. It is possible to grind them at home in a coffee grinder, but it is better to do this in the store where coffee is sold for a rout.

5
Pay attention to the country of coffee maker. Different climatic growing conditions give a drink and different taste:

  • The islands of the Pacific Ocean and India are coffee with a complex taste (a combination of tartness, velvety and softness);
  • Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rica - coffee with initial sourness and with a sweet aftertaste;
  • Brazil - a pronounced mustard prevails in the drink, but the coffee is very fragrant and with a long sweet aftertaste;
  • East Africa, Yemen is a very mild taste and the presence of fruit fragrance.

6
Buying coffee, keep in mind that the degree of roasting grains also affects the taste of the source drink. It turns out that even from one variety you can get completely different taste sensations. So, about roasting coffee:

  • Easy - coffee can be slightly sour and watery, but it is perfectly combined with cream or milk.
  • Average American - coffee with a strong aroma and a small bitterness.
  • The average Vienna is stronger than American. With such a roasting, the grains can be separate dark brown splashes. Such coffee has a strong bitter aftertaste, but also the fragrance is the most saturated.
  • Strong French and Spanish - a drink is very bitter, tart and bright.
