How to put a mosaic

A small mosaic tile is an excellent alternative to square and rectangular, especially for lining a small part, where it will look more appropriate. Modern mosaic is sold to a variety of sizes and forms, such as round or hexagonal. Usually, the mosaic is sold in sheets on a substrate from the cloth mesh, to which separate tiles are glued. This significantly speeds up the laying process, as you can put the entire sheet into one opening.

1
Start by fastening the horizontal and vertical guides, as for conventional tiles. Then apply glue on the wall.

2
Place the first sheet of mosaic on the wall into the angle between the guides and look good it to the wall.

3
After laying a few sheets, use a plywood and a piece of plywood to extract the mosaic evenly.

4
To lay a mosaic around the perimeter, cut off the individual tiles from the sheet, cut to the desired size and trimmed, press the glue.

5
After the glue dries, apply grout to the surface of the mosaic, carefully filling the seams between the individual elements of the mosaic.

If a mosaic sheets are needed in the process of work, simply apply simple scissors. If necessary, you can cut off the individual pieces of tiles and lay each of them, according to the planned project. For laying and grouting mosaics, the same compositions are used as for conventional tiles.
