How to overtake wine

Distillation of wine is a process called distillation. With the help of driving wine, you can get a brandy alcohol, which falls into the basis of various alcoholic beverages. Wine is a very individual drink, and it is difficult to guess what the ranking results will be. Therefore, we advise, before starting distilting the wine, try to overtake only a small part of it.

We have to:

  • Glass bank with a volume of 10 l - 1 pc.;
  • Glass jar of 3 l - 3 pcs.;
  • Cork or lid - 2 pcs;
  • Thermometer;
  • Stainless steel tube, with a diameter of equal holes in the covers - 2 pcs.

We collect the moonshine apparatus for the beginning. In each lid, pre-finish two holes. The diameter of the hole must coincide with the tube diameter. As long as two 3-liter banks separately - they will use us later. Close banks 10 and 3 liters with a plug or lid. In the first hole of the cover on the bank 10 l, insert the thermometer. Next, we connect both banks of the existing tube, while in a small jar pushing the phone almost until the bottom of the bank. If suddenly you do not have a stainless steel tube, you can use a tube of dense special rubber. In the second hole on the lid of a small can insert a short cut tube. It will serve as a discharge for an extra couple. A simple distillation device is ready to use.

A small jar must be turned over to the bottom and put in the sink or in a cold water container. Next, we will make a water bath. We put a low saucepan with water on the plate. When the wine capacity heats up to 65-68 degrees, the wine will begin to throw and convert into steam. Couple will enter the small bank on the handset and condensed at the bottom of the bank. Heat wine to 78 degrees. By lifting the fire, we support boiling at temperatures from 75 to 83 degrees. When the temperature of the wine becomes equal to 85 degrees, the heat process should be suspended. What will be in a small bank is called the secondary fraction. This liquid is quite suitable for use. It has a fortress up to 60 degrees and has the greatest value.

Turn on the plate again and lift the temperature of the wine until it starts to throw. Complete the distillation of wine and extinguish the stove. The resulting third result of the residue must be pouring into a separate container. In distillation, this product is called fragrant water and used when preparing such beverages as brandy.

Store the product distillation wine is recommended in wooden, specially prepared kegs.
