How to connect a monitor to the radio

The monitor in the car is a thing, of course, useful. On it you can not only watch films, but also have an additional overview of the road through the rear view camera. It is not difficult to set the display yourself if you know the correct algorithm of actions.

1
First, remove the panel that covers the grate of the duct, the radio and other devices. Usually it is attached with standard bolts, but if not, a special key should be attached.

2
We take out the radio from the nest with the same special key. If the key is not provided, you can use a thin strong wire.

3
We find a video output. Often the connectors we need are on the back of the player. The tulip connector should be pair, the nests are painted in red, white and yellow.

4
We connect the monitor wires to the corresponding nests. We insert the plug to the maximum depth so that there is no interference. By the way, interference can create a poor -quality wire, so it makes sense to evaluate its condition in advance.

5
We hide the wires in the torpedo, leaving only outputs for the monitor outside. In many panels, holes are provided for this, but if this was not found, we will drill it on our own.

6
In the selected place, we drill holes for fastening the monitor. Cover the hats of the bolts with plugs, insert the wires into the display connectors and fix it in the latch. Please note: the monitor should not interfere with the review or movements of the driver when driving. We return the radio and panel to the usual position.

Before installing the display, it is important to make sure that the radio is capable of supporting the video signal. Otherwise, the time, efforts and money for the monitor will be wasted.
