The tree-shaped peony is very fashionable in landscape design. Unusually beautiful high bushes with flowers of various shapes and colors - this is what the gardeners are especially attracted. The tree-like peony can be multiplied by seeds, cuttings or the division of the bush. The first two ways are very complicated, and only experienced breeders are engaged in them. The most accessible for an ordinary gardener is a method of dividing the bush.
The best time for planting a tree peony is from mid-August to the end of September. The landing pit must be prepared two weeks before the peony landing. The pit needs to dig a depth of 70 cm and on the bottom of it to lay a broken brick or gravel. On the drainage pour a pile of overwhelmed manure and cover the pit to make it not blurred rains. An adult five-or six-year-old bush of a tree peony should be digging out of the ground. Rinse the roots under running water and divide them into separate "decens" consisting of two or three shoots. This decene will be planted at the prepared place. The roots must be accurately straightening over a bunch of humus and spill a good water so that they completely immersed in a liquid substance. Next, the seedling should be filled with the next earthy mixture: 60% of garden land, 20% humus, 20% peat. It is also necessary to add 300 g of bone flour. The root cervix must be located at the ground level.Do not be discouraged if in the first year there will be only two or three flower on the bush. Every year, as the peony grows, they will become much larger.
