The idea of \u200b\u200bRoman curtains is taken from Roman navigators - so in the distant times they made sails. Shifting folded curtains look very beautifully on the window and can decorate any room. Roman curtains can be ordered in the workshop, but their production is quite expensive. And you can sew them yourself, especially since there is nothing complicated.
For the manufacture of the Roman curtains requires a minimum of material. A sufficiently solid cut of the tissue, exactly the repeating circuit of the window. To correctly calculate the amount of material, you need to decide with the method of fixing the curtains:- Curtains can be attached directly to the window frame, and then it will be descended along the glass, as an article on the title photo. For such a type of curtain material in width, you need two and a half centimeters more than the size of the window. The connection on the seams is covered on the sides.
- Another fastening method is over the upper window of the window, as in the photo below. With this fastening, so that the curtains look harmoniously (overlapped the window opening), the supply of 15 cm tissue is also provided for each side.
- cutting of decorative fabric suitable size;
- 7-8 pieces of pins (metal or wooden) 3 centimeters long longer than the width of the future finished curtains;
- small plastic rings in the number of three pieces for each skeleton - through them cords will be held to raise the curtains;
- three cords, each size: two curtain lengths plus one curtain width;
- wooden plank-sleevener equal to the width of the finished curtains;
- the top wooden plank, through which the curtain will be attached to the window;
- several looping and hooks or double sticky tape.

- Spread the fabric on a flat surface with an invalid side.
- Using a ruler and chalk, draw the lines of future scenes. Distances between future scenes are equal to the width of the folds.
- Indicate the places where the rings will be attached - on each row of three pieces (see the picture in paragraph 3).
- Treat the side cuts: wrap them first by 0.5 cm, then another two and step.
- At the bottom of the curtains, make and step up the flason with a width of 10 cm.
- Make a five-meantimeter flashot at the top of the curtains and the stapler attach a wooden slaughter to it.
- On the places on the sewing machine, the suite of scenes from wide braid.
- From above on the scenes manually enter three rings.
- Rings on a wooden rail fasten with metal brackets.
- Inside each row insert a wooden or metal pin.
- Insert a strip in the bottom challenger.

- Through each vertical roller rings to sell their cord. In the lowest ring, and their three pieces, the cord fasten with the nodule, smeared with glue.
- Each separate cord is a thread in all rings of its vertical row - do not forget about the rings, fortified on a wooden rail.
- Ends of all three cords output one way. As it should look, look in the picture below.
- Cut the ends of the cords so that they become the same with the shortest.
- On the ends, put on wooden or plastic clamps (they are sold in sewing fittings).
- At the window frame or window work, the finished Roman scope is attached using a bilateral lindicuity tape. And you can fasten metal loops on a wooden bar and put them on the hooks screwed into the wall.

For Roman curtains, any fabric is suitable, besides completely transparent - internal pins can be shocking through it. But then the chart can first "plant" on the lining, and then sew the rings and rings to it.
