Finish. The most common ways of finishing for washing:
Wood. Perfectly absorbs moisture, quickly dries and comes in the old appearance. Experts recommend using Lipa, Abash, Osin, or Canadian cedar. If you taste this option, process the wood with sandpaper on both sides, then apply an antiseptic composition on a flat surface.
Ceramic tile. It has an attractive appearance and is easy to clean. In addition, the material meets all the conditions of sanitation and hygiene. But for washing it is rarely used, since it is quite cold.
A budget option. You can install the tile not on the entire height of the walls, but by 1.8 meters. The remaining space is plastering and packed to the ceiling, and then a special color composition with water-repellent properties. But the ceiling is preferable to make wooden.
