How to make a brush from threads

Tassels are decorated with rosary, attach to bracelets, earrings and many other things. In fashion, they can be found on clothes, belts, shoes and even wallets. Such decorations can be made from a variety of different types of materials, depending on their final use. They may be simple or complicated. Despite the complex appearance, tastes are surprisingly simple in creating. The process does not require any special skills, tools and materials. Yarn, scissors and cardboard are all you need. So try to make one or better several original jewelry.

You can make a brush of simple yarn and even modest twine. The only restriction is your imagination. With the help of fibers with a large number of textures, such as a mohair, you can get volumetric and soft brushes. If you want to make an exquisite model, choose rustic vegetable fibers, such as flax. Use thinner fibers, such as silk or cotton for small brushes. To achieve the best results before starting to make brushes, disappear or scroll down all the beggars in the strands.

Cook the tangle of threads, sharp scissors and the surface to wrap the thread around (in this case, we use a thick book). The width of the book depends on how long the brush you want to do.

Wrap the thread around the book several times. If you plan to make some similar sizes of brushes, remember how many turns of the yarn did you.

Carefully remove the thread from the book.

Fold the coils of yarn in half, and place a piece of the threads in the center.

Stretch its ends through the loop, making sure that they saved the same amount of yarn on both sides.

Tighten the thread tightly, fixing the node.

Using the same part of another thread (about the same size as at the top), tighten the double knot around the thread width to give the tassel complete view.
