Typically, the standard falls within 550-750 ohms.

Now we go to the measurements of the inductance of the winding using a corresponding meter (inductive coil, resistance and containers). This indicator of a working crankshaft sensor should be 200-400 MHz.

Another parameter to be checked at the instrument is insulation resistance. In this case, we use the megaometer and we look at the voltage of 500 to the indicator did not exceed 20 MΩ.

If the sensor synchronization disk is accidentally magnetized during the diagnostics, it is possible to return it to the initial state using a network transformer.

The results of the measurements will serve you by manuals for further actions: if the indicators did not fit into the norm - the sensor is subject to replacement, if fit - the reason for the poor engine operation should be sought elsewhere. In the latter case, a serviceable crankshaft sensor can be installed in place, not forgetting the interval of 0.5-1.5 mm between the core of the device and its disk synchronization.
