Car discs are painted for two reasons: in order to eliminate various chips and scratches, as well as for the purpose of beauty and aesthetics - to give a car, a unique look. You can update the discs on your own in the garage, you only need patience and a little accuracy.

To work will be required:
Brush (better, if it is a nozzle on a drill or a grinder);
Tape is painted (if the design implies two different colors);
Sandpaper shallow and large;
Acrylic paint in disk cylinders - Motip, Soft99 or Presto;
Aerosol primer - Soft99 Primary Surface or Trans-Color;
Car lacquer - Body Paint Clear Soft99;
Solvent;
Rag.

First of all, the discs are inspected for the presence of irregularities that are eliminated by independent straightening or with the help of specialists in such work. Then everything you need is purchased, paint materials should be bought from one manufacturer - then there will be no problems with their compatibility and the layers will qualitatively fall on each other.

Working with the disk is beginning with its washing with water and powder. After drying, the brush is removed by a large rust and paint, then the remains of the old coating are removed with large sandpaper. The process is much faster when using power tools. At this stage it is important to clean all parts of the disk, including the side surfaces in the holes. At the very end, grinding is made in shallow sandpaper until the smooth surface is obtained.

Next, the disk is purified from dust and degreases with a solvent, after drying which the surfaces are proceeded. The disc is covered with two thin layers of soil from aerosol cans, with a complete drying of each layer. The paint application is also occurring in several approaches. When choosing a multi-colored coating, templates from painting tape are used, which can still be closed, if it was originally removed.

When the disc is painted in the right colors and completely dry, the last layer of car varnish is applied to obtain a high-quality and reliable coating. After about 24 days, the tires can be mounted on the updated discs and put on the car.
