First of all, it is necessary to prepare the surface on which we will apply putty. To do this, first should be washed and wipe the solvent required area. Clean it with the help of sandpaper or a special grinding machine so that there are no traces of rust and corrosion. High-quality surface treatment before putty is the key to the reliability of the further coating, the long-term repair and accurate recovery of the contours of the entire surface of the machine.

Automotive putty shares on the main and finish. There are also universal. The first layer is superimposed, the layer should not exceed 2-3 mm. The putty-cooked putty is applied with a rubber or plastic spatula at an angle of 30-40 degrees to the surface pressing movements. Press so that all scratches and irregularities are filled. In the same way, we apply the following layer. We repeat the procedure until the surface is leveled to the desired level, a slight bulge of the screaming surface is allowed, since the putty will give a shrinkage. Remember that it is necessary to give the time to each applied drying layer. The drying process can be accelerated using an industrial hair dryer.

When everything is well dry, start the grinding process. For a start, we take emotional paper with a larger spraying, it will quickly remove large irregularities and educated strips of putty, then we replace on the smallest, it smoothly pulses the surface. Grinding start with light movements, gradually enhancing pressure. If the putty falls during grinding, it is necessary to impose a new layer. To monitor the quality of work (smoothness of the surface), you can simply carry out hand, as irregularities are tactile more than visually. Or you can use a special developing powder. This is a conventional black powder that is lightly applied to the surface that we grind. The meaning is that when grinding, the protruding parts together with the powder are erased, and the scratches and dents remain black. Shlifuya, watch not to remove unnecessary if you see that the layer of putty has become too thin or glanced iron - in this case, we again apply a layer of putty, let it dry and spit again.

When our surface becomes perfectly even and the layer of applied fastening is well dried well, you can apply a layer of finishing putty. It is more plastic and finely dispersed. Similarly, it prepares according to the instructions and is applied with a rubber spatula. After drying, the finishing layer is grinning with the help of emery paper P220-240. For grinding, you can still use a special grinding machine, especially if large areas are processed.
