Excessive soil moisture is the actual problem of many land plots, which is the cause of flooding of the basement or cellar, the appearance of dampness on the ground floor or the destruction of the foundation. To protect yourself from the onset of these negative consequences, you need to take care of the drainage system on time.

The best time for installation of the drainage system is autumn or spring. It was at these pores that the soil is in the maximum wet state, so that you will be able to install moisture collection sites without any problems and share where to get it out.

The first stage from which to start the removal of water from the house is to take it away from the roof of the building. To do this, under each rope of the roof, fasten the drainage gutters ending with storm pipes. Each such pipe should be connected to a rain-seeker, the open parts of which are taken to close with lattices that prevent entering the garbage. If there are several such receivers - combine them into a single system using plastic pipes hidden in the soil. Drain of water from such a system can be carried out both in the nearest reservoir and at a lower section.

After the end of the work with the removal of water from the roof, you can proceed to the drainage of the site. Having determined the water collection place, dig a hole to install a drainage well, then start digging the drainage channel with a width of about 60 centimeters, and a depth of 1.5 meters. The channel should be directed toward the drain and have a small slope. Put on the bottom of the trench and sneak it. After that, start the installation of drainage pipes. If you do not have the opportunity to purchase special pipes - you can use the usual sewer, pre-chopped small holes in them.

Its essence comes down to digging a small waste ditch with a depth and width of about 50 centimeters. To facilitate entering the water, the edges can be cut off at an angle of 30 degrees. All small pivops are connected to the common system and are summarized to a large waste ditch, which in turn should be connected to a drainage well. Such a system is effective for removing excess moisture during heavy rains or abundant snow melting.
