Some system folders in Windows are hidden from the user so that it accidentally deleted or has not changed important files on which the OS operation depends. In addition, sharing folders is usually limited. To remove these restrictions, you must specify the appropriate settings.

For hidden folders to become visible, open the Start panel and click on the computer. At the top of the left, locate the "Sort" option, open the drop-down list and select "folder and search options". In the appeared window, open the "View" menu, scroll down the list and under the "Hidden Files and Folders" option, select "Show hidden folders, files and discs". Click OK. To make a folder Public Available to all users, open the "Computer" - "System Disk" - "Users". Right-click on the "Shared" folder and select "Properties". Click on "Shared Access". In the window that appears, specify "all" and click "Add". Select from the list "Specific Users", and then specify account accounts or the "All" option. Confirm the actions by clicking "Common Access". You can send a link to a shared folder by mail or copy it to a notebook and share it as needed.

Common access to folders can be provided to users who do not have an account on the computer. To do this, you must enable guest account. Open "Start", go to "Control Panel" and select "Add and delete accounts". Click on the Guest account and click "Enable". Click OK, then assign rights to access in the Resolution for Group tab.

It is not recommended to provide sharing to the root directory of the system disk, as well as Windows and "users" folders. Even if we get around the restrictions imposed by the system, it can adversely affect the operation of the computer. Use the folder to exchange data PublicBy copying files to the appropriate directories: music in the "General Music" folder, photo - in "General Images", etc. This method is always useful if difficulty with access to an ordinary folder not related to Public.
