A file with the * .dmg extension is the way it is intended only for the Mac OS X operating system, it can be stored in it - from personal files and games to backup copies. Initially, Windows is not able to open this file. With third-party programs, in particular Ultraiso and Poweriso, it is possible to open, view and extract the contents of the image.
Ultraiso.

To open the DMG file, download the Ultraiso program from the official site. On the hard disk, following the instructions of the installer, install and run it.

When you first start the program will ask you to enter the license key, select a trial period if you have a key, then enter the registration data. In the trial period, the utility will function in mode with some limitations.

In the window that opens, click on the file and select Open.

Select the desired file with the DMG extension and click Open. Wait until the program believes and loads the image. After opening, the whole structure, folders, subfolders and files will be visible.

The main program window will open. Click Open, select the desired and click OK. If a large volume file is open, the program can read it for a long time, wait for the download to complete.
