Enterfuril is an antimicrobial drug that is used in the treatment of diarrhea. The active substance is nirfuroxazid. Does not cause systemic side effects, so they are often used for children.

Enterofuril is a strong enterosorbent with the ability to bind toxic substances of various origins. It has an activity in relation to most of the gramnegative and grampositive bacteria, which makes it possible to be widely used in diarrhea caused by a number of infections. Does not disturb the intestinal microflora, thus excludes dysbacteriosis. In the gastrointestinal tract is not absorbed, excreted from the feces. Shows an action immediately after use.

Indications for the use of enterofurila

• Acute and chronic diarrhea of \u200b\u200binfectious origin, subject to the absence of signs of melting invasion.

• 1-6 months - 2.5 ml of suspension 3 times a day;
• 7 months - 2 years - 2.5 ml of suspension 4 times a day;

• 7 years and adults - 5 ml of suspension 4 times a day. Capsules do not chew, swallow the whole, wash with water.
• 3-7 years - 200 mg 3 times a day;
• 7 years old - adults - 200 mg 4 times a day.

Contraindications for enterofuril

• Capsules are not used for children under 3 years old.
• It is contraindicated to children up to 1 month, premature children sensitive to the components of the drug.
