The foundation on screw piles is considered universal and reliable base for an individual house or cottage. For low-rise construction, products are used for small size, which makes it possible for their independent manufacture. The result of creating your own piles will be a significant reduction in the cost of building.

First of all, we study the technical basis. The pile screw is a hollow metal tube with a support on one side and blades to another. The product device is shown in the drawing.

We produce calculations, given the highlights: the properties of the soil and the depth of freezing, the pressure of the structure to the ground, the height of the base, the diameter of the barrel and the amount of piles. We select dimensions from the table.

Preparing materials and tools:
