Often car enthusiasts face such a phenomenon as the brake pad creaking. And many newcomers immediately strive to rush in the car service, believing that the brake system is faulty. But, as practice shows, most often the fears are unreasonable and in most cases the problem is not worth the embodied egg. First of all, we note that the creak is oscillations or vibrations of the brake pad. Moreover, the sound, which scares motorists, makes it a shoe, not a disk, caliper. The causes of vibrations are several:
the advancement of new pads (usually disappears in a day or two);
the brake disc is worn, for this reason, the bin is formed - the drive of the disk along the external diameter, which resets;
singing brake caliper due to dry guides;
singing the brake caliper due to the wrong piston stroke in the caliper mine;
poor-quality block (there may be many problems).

To reveal and eliminate the possible causes of the screens, to start a disc inspection. If the wear of the pad is detected, that is, it is clearly visible to the bin, you can try to correct the defects yourself. To do this, remove the neoplasm by the gate, without removing the working surface.

Many new brake pads have chamfer (squeezes) and propyl. They significantly reduce the chances of the appearance of creak.

Before installing pads, check the quality of the caliper and pistons. If the guides do not enhance, the caliper bracket will move freely. It is also worth treating the guides with a special lubricant.

Remove the block and slightly press the brake pedal. If the piston is good and not clinically, it will be without efforting from the mine and return. It is worth paying attention to the piston boot. In case of damage, it must be replaced immediately, since it is the first reason for the "wedge" of the caliper.
