In Russia, several categories of veterans are established: labor veterans, military service veterans, civil service veterans, war veterans, war veterans (territory of the Russian Federation, USSR or other states). Each category has its own benefits.
According to FZ "On Veterans"All the disabled of war can count on providing such social support:- pension benefits (cash payments 3 088 r. Monthly);
- providing housing from the federal budget capabilities;
- installation without a queue of the apartment phone;
- advantage in entry into cooperatives (garage, housing, housing, horticultural, pr.);
- payment of 50% of the occupied housing;
- payment of 50% of utilities (if there is no central heating in the house - also fuels, transport services for its delivery);
- free extraordinary medical care, annual dispensarization;
- providing with prostheses and various prosthetic-orthopedic products (however, dentures are an exception), compensation for the acquired prostheses at their own expense;

- annual vacation at any time, plus an additional vacation up to 60 days annually without salary salary (it is possible to obtain a leaflet of temporary disability if the treatment requires a longer period);
