What benefits are the veterans of hostilities

Competition veterans are a special group of citizens of our country. And it is not surprising that special benefits have been established for their distinguishing merits to the Fatherland. In turn, all these social privileges are spelled out in the Federal Law "On Veterans" No. 5-FZ dated 12.01.1995, which we will consider in more detail.

Who is a veteran of hostilities

According to the indicated law, they own the following category of people:

military employees of state security and ATS, as well as persons who were dismissed to the reserve, or resign;
persons who appear in the tasks of the government to deminister the location and objects in the zone of the Soviet state and other countries from 05/10/1945 to 12/31/1951, as well as those who appeared in the undertaking cases from 10.05.195 to 12/31/1957 gg;
military summer composition, which during hostilities performed specialized departures from Soviet territory to Afghanistan;
the servicemen of the autoctalones, which in the war period made the supply of goods to the territory of Afghanistan;
employees who, during military events in other countries, served the military units of the Armed Forces of Russia and the USSR and received various kinds of injury, contusion and damage, or the Order and the Medals of Russia (or the USSR);
persons who from December 1979 to December 1989 followed the service to Afghanistan and were able to work there a deadline established under the contract; or those who, for an important reason, received early subcomarding;
employees who, in the direction of other countries and, in the performance of their official debt, became participants in the current hostilities there; Either these persons, in connection with the decision of the authorities, became parties to military operations in Russia.

All the details of this law, including the list of territories, and the gap in which the fighting was conducted there, are registered in section I, II and III of Annexes to the Federal Law "On Veterans" No. 5-FZ dated 12.01.1995.

What preferential rights are the veterans of hostilities

Under the above law, war veterans are provided with a certain list of preferential privileges:

Tax:

They do not need to pay for property tax.
The income tax deduction is 500 rubles.
When contacting the judicial authorities, the state duty is not charged with them.
By 10 thousand rubles. Reduced tax base for land tax.
Transport benefits (regulated at the regional level).

Housing:

Free-based basis can be purchased municipal or state housing area.
Reimbursement of funds for housing services in the amount of 50% (except for the use of gas, water and light). This benefit covers those who live with veteran on one housing area.

Medical:

Medicinal products (on the provision of recipe).
Treatment in military hospitals and hospitals.
Dispensarization (no more than 2 times in 6 months).
Primary and secondary production of limb prostheses.
Tooth prosthetics.

Benefits and financial assistance:

Accrual monthly cash payments.
Free travel in suburban transport, or the creation of a special travel ticket.
Payment on the disabled group (per month or this compensation is charged or hardly).

Reimbursement of labor benefits and education:

When entering the university, or the establishment of a middle profile is issued an increased scholarship.
Priority enrollment, including competitive places.
For those who work - additional vacation is given for their funds (35 days a year).
Gratuitous training at various retraining courses and advanced training.
