How to insert the frame in the Word

Often the need for text design arises not only as a consequence of the personal initiative of the author of the document. When creating techniques, benefits and preparation of creative work, information material often framed the frame.

The most popular text editor with which each PC user is familiar is MS Word. It is not only convenient and easy to work, but also allows you to create artistic work. How to prepare a colorful postcard or booklet using this editor?

How to insert the frame in the Word - Word 2003

This version of the editor is currently found quite rarely, but on some computers it is still present.

  • Create a new text document (Word) or open an existing one.
  • On the toolbar, find the "Format" menu and click it.
  • In the list that opens, choose the item "Borders and Pouring".
  • A window will appear in which you are interested in the page tab.
  • Now it remains only to choose the appearance and style of your frame.

Frame type: You choose what your framing will be flat, volumetric, with shadow or artistic ("Other"). Set the view of the contour - a solid line or intermittent, its color and thickness.

Art frame. If you want to get more colorful design, use the Other Frame Tip. Next, go to the "Figure" point and among the options offered in the list of options.

  • In the right half of the window you will see a preview frame.
  • If everything suits you - click "OK".
  • Frame is ready.

The data of the editor's version is very similar to each other, so the frame creation algorithm will be identical.

  • Open a text document or create a new one.
  • Find the tab "Page Markup" on the toolbar and go to it.
  • Among the sections that appeared, choose the block "page background".
  • Next click on the "Border Borders" icon.
  • A window with multiple tabs opens. To create a frame, you need a "page".
  • Click on it and choose the style and color of the framing (in the same way as in the case of Word 2003).
  • Assess the result in the field to the right.
  • Click "OK".

  • Open the Ready Word document or create a new one.
  • Find the "Design" tab and click on it.
  • You will have many sections, among which you choose the block "page background".
  • Click on the "Border of Pages".
  • The "Border and Fill" window opens, in which you in the "Pages" tab specify all the parameters for the future frame (in a similar way, as when working with the Word 2003 version).
  • Next, if the result suits you, click the "OK" key.

How to insert the frame in the Word - the scope of parameters

The frame obtained as a result of working with the "Page" tab will appear only on that page that was active during operation. If you need to create a similar framing on each document page, the actions must be the following:

  • Go to the "Border and Fill" window (how to get into it - is described above for each version of Word).
  • On the right side of the section choose the item "Apply K".
  • In the drop-down list, choose the pages on which the design will be present in the form of a frame.

You can choose not only the frame style and its location within the document, but also the boundaries of the contour within the page. For this:

  • Go to the "Border and Fill" window (how to get into it - is described above for each version of Word).
  • If desired, your frame may not have the 1st or 2-side sides, as well as the upper and lower boundary. To do this, click on the appropriate pictograms in the "Sample" section.
  • Next, in the right part of the unit, select "Parameters".
  • Click on it.
  • You will fall into the table in which you need to change the size of the fields, if you want to change the fields and specify the location of the frame.
  • When the changes are completed - click the "OK" key.

Working with a text editor will not cause any difficulties, and as a result you will have the necessary framing of the text.
