The system failure due to a viral attack or incorrect reinstalling the operating system sometimes leads to a loss of sound card drivers and as a result - no sound on a computer. Let's look at how to install the driver on the sound on your own without resorting to the help of the computer, using the example of Windows 7.

By default, when installing the Windows 7 operating system, the Windows Update Center is running, with which all drivers are periodically updated, and automatically. First check whether this service is not turned off. Through the "Start" button and search for Windows, open the "Services" window, find it and restart.

Further, also via the search, contact the device manager window, according to the screenshot. From the list of the presented equipment, select the "Sound, Video and Gaming Devices" section and click on it.

Most often, with an incorrect installation of the system in this place, a warning flag is located (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark), which indicates the lack of the desired driver. But it does not always happen, so take this note and click on subparagraph right mouse, and in the context menu, activate the "Update Drivers" item.

In a dialog box, click on the "Automatic Search Drive ..." tab, just do not forget to check the connection to the Internet at this moment, because the driver installation will go through the network.

If you have a pirated non-activated copy of Windows, then any automatic updates can do speech. Download drivers yourself, for example, through the site "Devid.info" Using the identifier (code) of your sound card.

Return to the device manager already known and right-click on the name of the audio card, activate the "Properties" item in the context menu. In the Properties window, go to the "Details" tab and select from the "ED END" list, and copy the identifier in the "Value" window.

Go to the site "Devid.info" And enter this most copied number in the search string, and then click "Search". From the list of discovered names, find the driver suitable under your operating system and download it to the computer using the site prompts.

Run the downloaded installer by following the attachments of the installation wizard, set the program to the computer. Immediately after that, the sound will appear on the PC.
