Method 1. To combine disk sections, you can use Windows OS products without installing some additional programs. In the “disc“ disc “disks” settings, set the “manually” method, otherwise the attempt to remove the section will end with an error. Perform a number of actions: “Start” - “Standard” - “Perform”, then in the service line, type “DiskMgMt.MSc” - the name of the disk management service. Press the Enter key. In the window that opens, the names of the existing sections of the disk will be listed. Choose the name of the volume that must be removed. For example, out of two sections of Tom C and D, you need to leave only with - on the disk d, click with the right mouse button, select "Delete the volume ...".

Method 2. On behalf of the administrator, enter the system. Enter Diskpart on the command line, press the Enter key. The utility built in Windows will start, which serves to control local disks and their sections. Complete the set of each team by pressing the Enter key. Now dial List Volume. A list of all volumes with assigned numbers will be released on the screen.

Dial the “Select Volume X” command - instead of “X”, indicate the section number to be removed. You have chosen thus with which further manipulations will be performed. Enter Delete Volume. Please note that all data from this section will be irrevocably lost. It is impossible to cancel the performed removal operation.

If the volume for some reason does not delete after the entered command, try to remove the disk section using the Delete Volume Override command. Go out using the Exit command from the Diskpart discs service and close the command line window.

Method 3. Delete a strict disk section using the Partition Magic program. Download on the Internet, install the specified software. Then reload the computer. Launch the program to execute. In the “quick launch menu”, set the “mode for experienced users”.

Mark the section subject to removal. Be extremely careful at the same time, do not delete the necessary information. In the open window, check the name of the deleted section again, enter the Tom mark in the field “Please enter the Tom mark ...”. Click the yes button, confirming the removal. In the list of sections, this volume will have the type “not marked”.

Select the “Changes” item in the main menu of the program, then “apply changes” in the next window. Click the yes button, confirming your decision. In the process of removing the section, the system will be reloaded several times. Then the Partition Magic program will automatically start. The area of \u200b\u200bthe remote section of the disk will be awarded in the program window on the “List of Sections” - “Not Made” tab, the selected section is removed.
You can delete the disk without installing additional programs in Windows 7 OS. You can not delete in this way the section from the operating system installed on it or other system files (for example, pumping files).
