If you choose citric acid, the wash must be at a high temperature. putting the laundry is not recommended. For dishwashers similar procedure, only the means poured directly into the machine base.

4
If your kettle never cleaned, and scale became a huge size - it will help the mixture of vinegar, citric acid and soda. And it is not suitable for plastic kettles. Use the mixture should be only in the most extreme cases, when all other means powerless. The kettle fill water and add 1 tbsp. spoonful of soda, boil and drain. Pour into water, add 1 tbsp. spoon citric acid. Bring to boil and leave to simmer for half an hour. Then, drain and do the same thing, just by adding citric acid instead of vinegar glass floor. Boil for half an hour. After such an aggressive environment scale leaves. If something will remain, this layer is loose, soft. It's easy to remove the usual sponge.

For greater effect, select such a composition which comprises a compound of trisodium phosphate or borax. Do not forget that the equipment must at least half an hour in contact with the surface, so that the reaction has gone.

Whichever tool you choose, remember: be sure to protect your hands and take care of your eyes. Any acid is extremely dangerous, so work slowly and carefully.

Honestly I can not stand this scale, I see at the bottom of the kettle, already cringe. Come with a kettle can be overcome, but the machine to break down the scale is not exactly going to let's just Calgon use for this that all is well with her, and it was nice, no smell unpleasant. And I'm still the pedant, I need cleanliness around
