A cat's house from a cardboard box and a piece of carpet
You will need:
- Carpet, you can use the old one.
- Cardboard box, cardboard should be dense.
- The litter is waterproof.
- Sharp knife.
- Adhesive tape.
- Glue for hot gluing.
- Pencil, ruler.
We start work:
- Select one solid wall of the box, outline the future entrance on it, then cut it.
- With the help of adhesive tape, glue all leaning wings on the sides.
- Take the insulating material, cut the rectangular piece, which will be enough to wrap the side walls and the bottom of the box. Turn the resulting piece, stick it through the entrance, expand. Apply glue on the inner surface of the box and glue the material.
- Cut two more pieces of insulating material - on the ceiling and back wall. Stick them. Also prepare pieces for the space around the entrance and paste it.
- It remains to overcome the outer surface of the house, for this use the carpet. For the upper, lower and side parts, prepare one rectangular piece that will correspond to the size of your box, pushing the house for them so that the joint is on the bottom of the house.
- The back and front part still remained, cut two pieces of the carpet in size, glue one into the back.
- Take the second piece of the carpet, draw a circuit on it for the entrance and make two diagonal cuts. Now glue this piece to the front of the box and alternately bend the upper, lower and two side parts of the incisions and securely glue them to the walls.
- The house needs to dry for three days.
Cat house from papier-mash
Everything that is necessary for the manufacture of the house:
- PVA glue.
- Many newspapers.
- Pacific packages are polyethylene.
- Cardboard.
- Food film.
- Finishing materials - varnish, fabric, paint.
We start work:
- Creating a form. Take a few rugs, pack them in packages, wrap them with cling film, while making the desired shape of the future house.
- Paring with paper. Torn newspapers to small pieces and, by a prepared basis, glue them alternately. Each layer must be grinded with glue. At a time you can glue four layers of paper, then you need to wait 12 hours until everything dries and you can start the next layers. Your case should turn out to be a thickness of at least 7 mm. When everything is ready, it is necessary to seal the bottom with dense cardboard.
Do not forget to indicate the hole for the entrance with the marker so as not to seal it. You also need to leave an unnecessed place at the bottom so that at the end of the work you can get a package with a blanket.
- Finishing work. All that remains is to do is paint the case inside with acrylic paint and glue it out with a cloth. It is advisable to pass the entire design at the end of the work several times with acrylic varnish, then dry and ventilate.
House-stick for a cat from an old T-shirt
We collect the necessary tools and materials:
- T-shirt.
- Dense cardboard 40 × 40.
- Pins.
- Scotch.
- Shilo, pliers, nippers.
We start work:
- For the frame of the future design, you need to cut off the upper part of the hangers, align the wires with pliers, then bend them in the form of arcs.
- Shilan make through holes in the corners of the cardboard.
- Fix the arches of the hangers with tape, fix them slightly tumbling in the holes in the cardboard.
- Tighten the old T -shirt on the resulting design, fix the sleeves with pins. The neck will serve as an entrance to the cat's house.
