Piciation is the process of clearing sediments from a total capacity to individual. At the same time, the tip of the rod root is removed to prevent excessive recess and stimulate the further branching of its system. Due to the increase in the lateral roots, the plant is improved, which leads to a higher yield.
For picking, you will need individual transplantable containers, such as plastic cups, peat or plastic pots, cassettes or plastic sleeves for seedlings. The size of the containers is chosen taking into account the peculiarities of the root system of the peeing plant: the root must be freely located, and not to be thrown into the lumps to get more nutrients necessary for the development of the plant.

Seedling needs a pickup if the seeds were sown enough tightly, and the usual thinning is not enough to ensure full-fledged power plant. The picking should be carried out when 2-3 real leaves appear, and shoots are fixed.

If there are a lot of seedlings, and they are seeded into a common container, then a method of diving under the bar is applied. In general capacity make a furrow in which seedlings are laid at the required distance. Further, the stroke on the width of the grooves pick up the earth and pressed all seedlings of the row. Thus, several plants are planted at once, which significantly saves time. However, this method does not always provide good soil contact with roots, which can slow down the development of the plant.

The number of pickles (from one to three) depends on the type of plant, seed sowing time. Thanks to the dive, the timing of the appearance and ripening of fruits is reduced. But some cultures, for example, cucumbers, poorly carry a transplant, so the picing them is contraindicated.
