How to separate the house siding

Many houses built 10-20 years ago lose their external appeal. In addition, it is often necessary to insulate the walls of the structure. In this case, you can separate the house by siding. The whole process is quite laborious and entertaining, but it is quite possible to perform the trim.

Necessary materials:

siding;
auxiliary materials (starting and finishing stripes, external angles, rails, connecting profile, J-strips for edging);
self-tapping screws;
metal profile or wooden lattices;
fasteners (nails or selflessness).

Pre-make calculations of the required amount of all materials: Make a schematic drawing in the required scale of each wall of the building and all individual parts that must be seduced, be sure to specify all sizes. In the case when the walls of the building do not allow secure siding to the surface due to their worn out or they require alignment, it is necessary to fix the metal profile or wooden slats:

the extreme side of the crate must be in the same plane;
profiles or rails are installed all over the perimeter of each wall, as well as around windows and doors;
if wooden rails are used, they must be treated with a solution that protects moisture and different temperatures to avoid rotting, the occurrence of fungus, etc.;
the distance between the rails should not exceed 1.5 m, so that siding does not swim, the closer will be rake, the better the final result will be better;
bold the rail or profile strictly vertically;
in the intervals between the rails insert the insulation.

Siding installation sequence:

cut siding in accordance with the calculations;
secure the starting bands and external corners, edging profiles;
connect the first siding lane with the starting strip until it clicks,
attach it to rivers or profile with nails or screws;
the gap between the siding leaf and the auxiliary parts should be 5 mm;
continue to fix the next siding strip to the previous one to the desired height;
secure the finish strip.
