How to grow cucumbers on the balcony

Sortes are suitable for growing cucumbers on the balcony: "April", "Balan", "Balalaika", "Balcony", "City Cucumber", "Mahar" and others. Preference is given by self-polished (parthenokarpic) and shadowless varieties.

Substrate for seeds and seedlings are sold in specialized stores. If you cook yourself, the components are taken in the calculation on the bucket.

Ingredients:

Peat - 2 kg;
Manure (humid) - 2 kg;
Earth is hardening - 2 kg;
Wood sawdust - 2 kg;
Coarse sand - 1 kg.

Fertilizer ingredients:

Nitroposka (mineral concentrated fertilizer) - 1 tbsp;

Seed seed at the end of February or in March-April. Before boarding for 20 minutes, treat in manganese (solution of potassium mangartage). Raisted seeds wrap in warm wet fabric for 1-2 days, sprouted - drop into paper cups from the ground. Substrate water with warm water. In the cup, make a hole to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. Two weeks later, the first feeding is held. It prepares from the calculation: on 3 liters of water - 1 tsp. Urea, one paper cup - 200 grams of fertilizer. Repeat the feeder in a week.

In 25 days, seedlings from the cups together with the Earth transfer to a special container (box, tank). Under it, lay the foam or wooden board. Soil has the same composition as in cups.
