The first thing to be done before removing the gas tank is to merge all the remaining fuel. To do this, its design may provide a special drain hole located below. Remember that as soon as you delete it, the fuel will start rapidly to avoid spilling it to the ground, prepare the vessel in advance for its collection. It can be a canister with a wide throat or an ordinary bucket. If you do not have a drain plug, try removing fuel from gas tank using a hose and pumping pear.

When the benzobac will be cleaned of gasoline or diesel residues, disconnect the connector that is responsible for connecting the wires to the fuel level sensor. Depending on the design, it can be done simply by pulling it for it or lingering a special tongue. As a rule, this connector is located under the rear seat cushion or in the trunk. The next step is to disconnect the ventilation hose located below the tank.

After completion of the preparatory work with a screwdriver or passage, a little loosen the clamp, which fixes the fuel supply hose. Pull the hose to remove it. If over the years of use of the car, the fuel line quarrel and not removed from the fuel tank fitting - try slightly stirred it, gently shifting from the side to the side. After several such movements, the hose is disconnected.

The next step is to dismantle the fasteners of the scrubbacker's clamps. Unscrew the nuts fixing the clamps to the bottom or body body, and remove them with the studs. The released side is lowered as much as possible, then remove the second part of the clamp from the hook.

To dismantle the gas tank, it is also necessary to remove the cork of the filler neck - it is enough just to unscrew. Having done this, carefully slide the tank to the side so that the neck is freed from a special rubber cover hidden in the car body.

Last, which interferes with the removal of gas tank - minus wire connected to its body. To do this, unscrew the fixing nut. You can do this with the key or passage. More fuel tank does not hold anything, and it can be carefully dismantled from the car.
