How to mount PVC panels on the ceiling

Performing repairs, you always want to see a good result, while save time and not much to waste. A good option in such cases see the use of PVC panels, which have certain advantages: good moisture resistance, easy departure and simple installation. Most of the owners will be able to make such a suspension design by studying the sequence of work.

To mount plastic panels on the ceiling, you need tools:

Electric drill;
Hacksaw and scissors for metal;
Screwdriver or screwdriver;
Level and roulette;
Hammer and stapler;
Stair stance or suitable table.

First, the surface of the ceiling is prepared: the deputy plaster is removed and everything that may later fall. PVC panels are recorded in the room, their packaging is slightly breaking - so they will quickly take the room temperature.

To fulfill the crate (frame) it is better to use a galvanized or aluminum profile, but wooden bars are allowed. On the walls around the perimeter of the room there is a horizontal line using a level, considering the thickness of the profile plus an indentation from the ceiling at least 5 cm for laying the wiring or 10-15 cm in case of installation of built-in luminaires.

Now the guides are installed on the marked line, using dowels or self-tapping screws (depending on the type of walls). By ceiling area after 60 cm, suspensions are fixed. The guides are installed transverse profiles, perpendicular to the intended location of the panels. Each profile is checked by the level and fixes on the suspensions.

After making the frame, the wires are laid to the location of the lighting devices. The first plastic panel is cut down in size, aligned on the crate and secured by means of screws or brackets. The subsequent element is placed and cuts only after installing the previous one - to exclude inaccuracies at the joints. PVC panels are inserted into the lock until the complete stop, the damage of their ends is not allowed.
